Marcus Adams, CIMA®, CSRIC® Managing Director Market Investment Executive
Marcus Adams is a Managing Director and Market Investment Executive at Bank of America Private Bank in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, he is responsible for leading a team of investment professionals who provide world class tailored investment advice in Pennsylvania and Delaware. He helps deliver an exceptional client investment experience and ensures all risk controls are met to ensure responsible growth at the firm.
Adams has more than 20 years investment experience in the financial services industry. Most recently he served as a senior portfolio manager serving the needs of high-net worth families, business owners, and endowments and foundations. Adams is also part of Bank of America’s Diversity and Inclusion Recruitment & Retention Committee.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, he served as senior investment strategist at Wells Fargo Private Bank helping give him experience and insight into the wealth management needs of high-net-worth families, business owners, endowments and foundations. And previously, he was a senior portfolio officer with Bank of N.Y. Mellon.
Marcus Adams obtained a Master of Business Administration in finance from The McDonough School at Georgetown University, a Master’s of Science in management from Kettering University, and a Bachelor of Science in industrial & systems engineering from The University of Southern California. Marcus is a CIMA® professional, focusing on investment management consulting and has also earned the Chartered SRI Counselor™ designation, awarded by The College for Financial Planning Institutes Corp.
