Join us for an exclusive talk with Meridian Bank CEO, Chris Annas, and Super Bowl winning tight end, Brent Celek, as they discuss entrepreneurship and the ups and downs of running a business during the pandemic.
The discussion will be moderated by Glen Macnow, host on SportsTalk WIP.
This event will be both in-person and virtual.
- In-person will take place at Philadelphia Country Club on their outside terrace space. The number of attendees is limited based on COVID restrictions; COVID regulations will be in-place at the venue, including: social distancing, requirement of a mask when not seated, food/beverage service only while seated, etc. Pre-registration is REQUIRED to attend in-person (no on-site registrations will be accepted)
- The virtual event will take place via a livestream feed. Attendees will be able to watch the event in real-time, as well as ask questions in a chat function.
About Brent Celek: Brent Celek is a former tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles. Drafted in 2007, he spent his entire 11-season career there and helped lead them to victory in Super Bowl LII before retiring. Hailing from a family of entrepreneurs in Ohio, Celek’s parents instilled in him at a young age the vision, drive and innovation required to run his own businesses. Brent has owned and been involved in several successful ventures in the hospitality and real estate industries, most recently launching his business Brent Celek Real Estate in Media, PA. As a business owner, Brent creates companies that he believes in and enjoys watching them grow and succeed.
About Chris Annas: Chris Annas is the founder, Chairman, President and CEO of Meridian Bank. Mr. Annas has over 30 years of banking experience in various commercial lending capacities, and currently serves on the Foundation Board of Paoli Hospital and on the Community Bank Council of the American Bankers Association. In 2016, Mr. Annas was named one of the Most Admired CEOs by the Philadelphia Business Journal.
About Glen Macnow: Glen Macnow has been a host on SportsTalk WIP in Philadelphia since 1993. Glen pairs with Ray Didinger on weekends and also is the prime host of the Eagles official pregame show. Glen became an entrepreneur in 2014 as one of the partners in the Conshohocken Brewing Company, which now sells beer in three states and runs five restaurant/brewpubs. Glen also moonlights as a consultant and writing coach for Ceisler Media in Philadelphia, and has written six books for adults and 15 for children. He hosts a TV show about beer, “What’s Brewing” on NBC Sports Philadelphia.
