Brian has over 23 years of experience providing financial wealth management advice and service to successful entrepreneurs and corporate executives.  A graduate of St. John’s University, Brian is a member of The Golden Key National Honor Society and was included in the “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.”  Brian’s professional career began in 1990 while with Lehman Brothers.  Prior to joining Stifel Nicolaus in January 2009, Brian spent 14 years overseeing high net worth relationships for Merrill Lynch in the company’s world headquarters office in New York City before relocating his practice to Bucks County, Pennsylvania.  Brian was recently recognized as one of Philadelphia’s Top Wealth Managers for 2012 by Smart CEO magazine.

In December 2012 Mr. Cashman was appointed Chairman and CEO of Marinus Pharmaceuticals a neurology focused company based in New Haven CT.  Prior to Marinus, he was President and CEO of Protez Pharmaceuticals, an infectious disease company he co-founded in 2003. Protez was acquired by Novartis in 2008.  Mr. Cashman was the recipient of the “Entrepreneur of the Year” award by the Mid Atlantic Capital Alliance in 2008 and the “Life Sciences CEO of the Year” by the Eastern Pennsylvania Technology Council.

Mr. Penn joined MVP in 2000 from Boston Millennia Partners, a private equity firm where he was a Partner. He has served on numerous MVP company boards including Andrews International, Coffin Turbo Pump, and Implex. From 1994 to 1998, Mr. Penn was President and CEO of Tektagen, Inc., a leading contract services firm serving the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Tektagen was successfully sold to Charles River Laboratories, Inc. in 1998.

Dr. Kury is currently an Assistant Professor of Family Business and Entrepreneurship at Saint Joseph’s University. He has earned an MBA from University of Texas – Brownsville and an MS and PhD from Boston College. At SJU he teaches classes in entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and management. His research interests are in the areas of social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship, social change, and critical accounting.
